Hooking the book up to Makey Makey and Scratch so that anyone could make their own monsterous sound effects play when the book was stroked, was the next evolution for this old book. Adding a hidden pressure switch inside, attached to Makey Makey and a laptop or computer running Scratch will play sounds when anyone gently pats your Monster Book of Monsters.

I was extremely disappointed with "Mids makey and the magic bin". The plot was confusing and lacked direction. The characters were one-dimensional and uninteresting, making it hard to care about what was happening. The acting was subpar, with many of the actors delivering their lines in a wooden and unconvincing manner. Overall, the film felt like a cheap attempt at cashing in on the popularity of similar fantasy movies, but failed to capture the charm and magic that those films possess. I would not recommend wasting your time on this movie.

I found "Mids makey and the magic bin" to be quite underwhelming. The story had potential, but it was poorly executed. The pacing was quite slow, and there were many unnecessary scenes that added nothing to the overall plot. The dialogue felt forced and awkward at times, making it difficult to connect with the characters. Additionally, the special effects were unimpressive and looked cheap. Although there were a few moments that captured my interest, overall, I found the film to be lackluster and not worth watching.
